Who handles your information
VAYRO is an independent app operated under the business name VYLO. You can contact the person responsible for personal information protection at xkwaoconker@hotmail.com. This policy covers the VAYRO app and its public help pages. Version dated October 19, 2026.
Account and profile
We collect your email, sign-in information, first name, date of birth, gender, city and photos needed for your profile. Authentication is managed by Supabase; your password is not published. Your birth date is used to calculate age and restrict the service to adults. Your profile may include up to 10 photos, interests, dating intentions, personal answers and captions.
Sensitive information and optional choices
Your dating preferences and some profile information may reveal sensitive details, including about your intimate life or orientation. Add only what you want to share and use the visibility settings. You can edit or remove optional information. Preferences are used for discovery and meeting suggestions.
Interactions and personalization
We record the Likes, WoWs, matches, messages, date proposals, blocks and reports needed to run the service. Filters and shared interests help rank profiles and suggest a date. Ranking may reflect Premium benefits when that access is active, without bypassing blocks or filters. Outings are deferred; data and conversations from earlier tests may remain linked to your account until removed or until account deletion.
Voice and media
A 15-second voice introduction is optional. Microphone, camera or photo library access depends on the action you choose and your device permissions. Published voice clips and photos are stored to display them to members allowed to view your profile. You can replace or remove them. Previously issued playback links, screenshots and copies saved by other people cannot all be recalled instantly. The interface language is stored on your device. Your chosen language may also be recorded with your account and an already registered notification device to display account communications and notifications in French or English.
Location and availability
You can choose your city manually. When a feature offers location access and you allow it, it is used for proximity; Dating also works from your city without GPS. Exact location and home addresses are not shown on profiles. Visible distance depends on your settings and remains approximate. There is no movement tracking or map. Free now, Free tonight and Free this weekend are optional: each status expires after 24 hours and never turns itself back on.
Optional profile verification
A purple checkmark request includes a selfie and photo ID, with unrequested information hidden according to the app's instructions. Only designated reviewers can view these private documents. Review is manual, without automated facial recognition or automatic extraction of the document number. The retention schedule distinguishes document copies, access logs and information used to make a decision. It describes the current technical cycle and the outstanding review of legal duties to retain decision information. Verification is optional and does not guarantee a member's behavior.
Recipients and access
Members see profile elements permitted by your settings; messages are accessible to conversation participants. The operator and expressly authorized people access what is necessary for support, safety, moderation and rights requests. VAYRO does not sell your information or include behavioral advertising in this version. Information may be disclosed to authorities when legally required.
Providers and processing outside Québec
Supabase provides authentication, the database and media storage. Expo and Apple or Google services handle distribution and notifications when configured and authorized. Support emails use the Microsoft mailbox associated with the contact address. Public pages are hosted through Sites on OpenAI and Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers may process technical information or provide services outside Québec or Canada. Information shared is limited to the relevant service; hosting exclusively in Québec is not guaranteed.
Technical data and public pages
Your session, appearance and language preferences are remembered on your device. Services may process IP addresses, browser or device information, sign-in times and errors to operate and secure access. Public pages do not require an account, collect identity documents or include advertising analytics added by VAYRO. Email buttons open your email app: you choose the information and confirm sending it yourself.
Retention and deletion
The retention schedule describes categories, starting points and deadlines. Verified deletion requests are handled within 7 days for active systems, except for legally necessary retention. Initially hiding a profile does not mean full deletion. Ordinary periods include 90 days after closure for support and 12 months for minimal evidence of a rights request. Legal retention duties take priority over shorter periods, particularly for information used to decide about a person and the privacy incident register. Provider logs and backups follow their documented cycles; instant physical erasure of all copies is not promised. Verification of how this schedule is implemented remains in progress during testing.
Your choices and requests
You can edit your profile, filters, visibility, status and device permissions, pause Dating or request account deletion. Contact the privacy contact to request access, correction, deletion or a structured copy of your information where that right applies, or to make a complaint. Proportionate identity verification may be needed. Do not include a password, sign-in code or ID in your first email. Verified requests are handled within 7 days; any legal obstacle is explained when permitted. You can also contact Québec's Commission d’accès à l’information.
Protection and limits
We restrict access by role and use encrypted connections to access services. Verification documents are not public. No system guarantees zero risk, and conversations are not described as end-to-end encrypted. Blocking limits future interactions; it does not erase copies already received by other people.
Payments, sharing and changes
Real purchases are not open in this version. The policy will be updated before a new payment provider or a new use of information is activated. Voluntarily sharing a date opens your phone's share menu: you choose the recipient, with no live location tracking or automatic update of the shared copy. Important changes are announced to affected members and the policy date is updated.
